Zandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Master Addiction Counselor and Certified Anger Management Specialist who works with adults, with a focused specialty in working with Women.  Zandra earned her Master of Social Work degree from New York University in 2010.  Zandra’s work experience includes various environments; including (but not limited to) psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, re-entry programs, and community-based organizations.  Zandra has also served as the Director of a federally funded Outreach Program at a non-profit agency whose primary focus was assisting homeless adults gain their sobriety and secure stable long-term housing.

Zandra uses a culturally diverse, person centered, trauma-informed approach in helping her clients address Depression, Anxiety, and self-esteem issues.  Zandra uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to address unhealthy thinking patterns and old, negative belief patterns to assist clients live a life free from active addiction.   Zandra is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) techniques to address past trauma and allow clients to move forward in their lives free from their past.  Zandra is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist; trained to teach clients how to manage their anger triggers and responses in a responsible manner.  Zandra’s main goal in working with clients is to help them learn how to manage their current life stressors and most importantly learn how to gain/regain a Zest 4 Life.
